Experience the unique charm of our orchard.

The Philips Fruittuin was established by Anton Philips as a labour supply project. It is a 12-hectare orchard with apple, pear and plum trees. We grow the fruit with respect for nature. Beneficial insects control the harmful ones.

Have you always wanted to know how growing fruit works? Come take a look behind the (wind) screens. There is always something to do at the Philips Fruit Garden!

Guided tours for young and old... Fun and educational.

Enjoy the orchard at its very best! Meanwhile, you will get extensive information on how the fruit grower does his job and what is involved in growing apples and pears.

The tour can be booked from April to October (minimum 10 people).

Would you like a guided tour with your class? Learn how apples, pears and plums grow and what kind of critters live in the orchard. In September and early October, you can even pick an apple from the tree.

Apple picking days

During the ‘Apple Picking Days’ at the Philips Fruit Garden, you can pick your own apples and pears! Straight from the tree, you have never had them this fresh.

Unfortunately, the 2024 picking days are already over and were a great success. For the 2025 dates, keep an eye on our website and socials!

Picnic

Do you also love having a picnic, but it's actually just too much hassle? We arrange a great location and a lovely healthy fresh picnic basket! Please book in advance.

Treasure Hunt

Explore the orchard yourself and discover nature with our treasure hunt and games trail! Along the way, you will encounter fun challenges, from tug-of-war to educational games.

Workshop Pruning

Always wanted to know how to get your own apple and pear trees in line? Then join our pruning workshop. We will start the day with some theory and a practical demonstration, and later you will prune yourself.
